Jerry Angping Hi friends, i apologize for the hiatus from market mirror... as u might have noticed, we were EXTREMELY BUSY this past week...thanks so much for all the felicitations...as we have told everyone, these are merely the initial steps of a long sojourn......one which we hope to share with you for many years to come...

Jerry Angping let me just update you on where we are, where we have come from and where we are headed...

Jerry Angping NI and GEO have always been EXPLORATION companies, as such we are, in a manner of speaking, (techspeak) - incubation companies. Dito muna natin binubuo ang laman at lakas ng kumpanya...dapat malaman at marami at maganda!

Jerry Angping In the course of the last half decade, marami na tayong nabuo na mga properties - some gold AU, some nickel NI, some cobalt, some chromite, some thermal coal, etc... Most of what NI owns is in nickel, chromite, cobalt, etc...all over the Philippines po ito...

Jerry Angping sa totoo lang, ang hirap hirap po ng mining dito sa Pilipinas, kasi po ang dami dami pong laws and regulations na outdated and antiquated that serve to DETER the development of our fledgling industry rather than DEVELOP the industry po- mining is onl...y for the DETERmined - kasi po kung hindi--- DETER-mining--ang nangyayari!
Jerry Angping Noong una namin ma-meet si Z, sabi nila ilang taon na raw nila gustong pasukan ang mining sa Pililipinas- kaya lang puro DETER-mining or DETOUR-mining ang nangyayari sa kanila--kasi po marami pong iba dyan, gustong mag-quick-buck lang po. So when we... went into serious discussions some time back, they really put us through the LITMUS test - yung baga DUE Diligence po...at sa wakas, dahil serious businessmen naman ho tayo...ayan, last week signalled a major MILESTONE in our companies' evolutionary process...

Jerry Angping To signify their seriousness and sincerity in working in our beloved country, they donated $200,000 muna sa our less fortunate brothers and sisters hurt by the recent typhoons. In the coming months, Z and NI and GEO will continue to work on the handf...ul of projects that we have identified as priority. Kasi po, we have quite a stable of prospective mines for them - from which mayroon na po silang napili na medyo kursunada nila. After this extensive,exhaustive process po, then we will have a definitive substantive program from which to launch the next phase of activities...

Jerry Angping Kasi po, sa mining, years and /or decades po ang pinaguusapan dito- kasi po ang lalaki po ang investments- hindi po pwepwede ang ilang million lang po-ilang million na DOLLARS po hindi pesos...this is an arena where only the big players can participa...te!!! now, many many of our detractors have said that hanggang "play" lang po tayo--hanggang laro lang po tayo...Well, in humility po, i admit na, (and i have often admitted this) - we have committed our share of mistakes - we have had our share of blunders -- but they were honest mistakes from which we have earned INVALUABLE lessons! Sinabi ko na po- COMEBACKs are not luck, COMEBACKS are chosen paths!!!

Jerry Angping in my personal life, as well as our corporate life, we have encountered peaks and valleys, it is incumbent upon us all to always remain true to our ideals and the solemn promise of INTEGRITY!!!
Jerry Angping just recently, when we were down, when the "market slept on languid notes"...many naysayers belittled our lofty dreams and aspirations. Ito po lang ang mga tanong ko:
#1 if we as Filipinos do not believe in ourselves, who will???
#2 why do we... always have to RELY on foreigners??? tulad nitong kawawang stock market natin, why do we always have to depend on FOREIGN buying???
#3 if no foreign buying, then does that mean, walang kwenta ang localcompany???
#4 is the FILIPINO RETAIL INVESTOR a forlorn picture of a loser??? Na walang alam at hindi marunong mag-invest? na puro lang tayo hanggang "basura" stocks lang?????
#5 did our big and small neighbors across the straits-namely China (big) and... Taiwan (small) catapult themselves into the ranks of heavy hitters through local or foreign funds??? only recently, when they can now withstand HEAVY withdrawals, did they open the spigots of foreign funds...kasi po mas mahirap ang problema from heavy sudden withdrawals vs temporary hot money inflows...
#6 who are the real honest to goodness passengers that will stay till we reach ultimate destinations of NATIONAL SUCCESS and PROSPERITY as a nation? ang mga foreign funds, in fairness-most lang naman -not all- are mere transient passengers on this ou...r train ride to national development. in the final analysis, ang tunay na LONG-term passengers- tayo po- ang FILIPINO!!

Jerry Angping sori po, medyo napa ligaw ang usapan...anyway, after all the aforementioned questions, my thoughts on the issues are here po: When we started more than five years ago, we had practically nothing going for us other than our dreams and determination to ...succeed. In the course of our companies development, we have assembled a pool of brilliant people to deal with the complex issues of mining in this country...An essential driver of economic growth in the Philippines can and will be Mining!!! We are commited to bring to production some of more advanced properties soon, malamang, early next year.
While we are exploration companies, we are in the final stages of negatiations with mining OPERATION companies, so we should see strong cash flow next year. Pipilitin natin yan!!!

Jerry Angping sa international marketplace, ang primary role po natin is to bring our local mining POTENTIAL into DEVELOPMENT!!! While we are blessed with so much natural resources- its only hanggang potential pa lang...our role is to bring these tenements into maturity, into operations and into processing...

Jerry Angping sa totoo lang, talagang early days pa lang tayo, umpisa pa lang ang pagsasama natin with Z, kailangan pang ayusin ang mga gagawin, ang dami...and not only with Z, next week ibang Chinese naman ang kausap natin on the processing of nickel - medyo mga ...details na po, quite complicated na po ang susunod...kung baga sa pamilya, marami tayong anak - magaganda naman- kaya lang sa dami na lumiligaw, kailangan ibackground check kung matino ba o hindi...kung decente pa o hindi...kung may kakayahan ba o wala...   (Source: Market Mirror - Facebook)
